Payroll & QA Coordinator

Job Description

  • Process and reconcile timecards for employees and Visits Logs for Independent contractor’s Bi-weekly payroll within established deadlines.
  • Timely resolution of payroll issues and inquiries with staffing coordinators and external employees.
  • Maintaining each region assigned with organization and efficiency, including preparing timecards for invoicing and filing.
  • Matching timecards to invoices and preparing invoices for distribution.
  • Review and reconcile all account payables.
  • Conduct weekly QA on all schedules and logs to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to prioritize and have an aptitude for numbers.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and professionally in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • PC skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook) essential. Previous experience with Paychex Flex systems a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills to ensure the completion of assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Prior experience with payroll, billing, or data entry is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Description

  • Processing, monitoring, and collecting of, Medicaid claims in accordance with payer Requirements.
  • Verifying accuracy of billing data and revising any errors.
  • Importing/posting payments from all payer types.
  • Creating and distributing various financial reports as needed.
  • Timely resolution of all claims including appeals.
  • Following up on accounts for billing and on overdue accounts for collections via phone calls, re-submissions, and adjustments for billing errors.
  • Working with personal information and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college preferred
  • Courses in bookkeeping and accounting OR work experience in a healthcare or related setting.
  • One to two years medical billing (Medicaid) and administrative experience preferred.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and relate ideas effectively with staff members, supportive personnel, management staff, third party payers, patients, and physicians.
  • Must have strong skills in computer equipment and software, detailed documentation, problem-solving and excellent customer service.
